Haven’t had much opportunity to use this saw yet. Have only run a couple tanks of gas through it, but so far I’m thoroughly impressed. Started on the third pull out of the box. The next time I cold started it, I flooded it. This saw does not need to be choked. Pump the primer build 3 times and pull the cord with no choke. It has cold started on the first pull every time with that technique even after sitting for a couple of weeks. 3/8 lp chain and 16 inch bar seem to be of decent quality and haven’t had to tighten the chain since I assembled the saw. Oiler provides plenty of oil. Nice light little saw for limbing and bucking logs 12” or less. Will tweak the carb after is is broke in good for a little better performance. Feel that this saw was worth every penny and then some. $130 with 2 16” bars and 4 chains delivered to my door. Was definitely not expecting the quality that was delivered for that price! Now if you want a REAL saw....consider the Holzfforma 660...that thing is a BEAST. Definitely not an everyday firewood saw...way too heavy....but if you have some BIG timber to buck this is for you. I only put the 25” bar on it, but I can bury the bar in a 36” dry elm, sink the dogs in, lift on the handle, and can’t make it bog. All you can see is flying wood chips and the stupid ass grin on my face! Have about 25 tanks through it with no issues at all. Cold starts second pull every time...hot starts first pull every time. Already have my moneys worth out of that one and will buy another if I ever wear this one out.

The 38CC JonCutter works perfectly for my smaller jobs. I also put it to the test on some bigger pieces and I was very pleased with how well it could handle them. Great Saw.
