Use this at work everyday. Been about 3 weeks. Had the tensioner bolt snap first ever cut but i replaced that quickly with a better stihl brand one. Runs like a beast. Starts right up. Couldnt be happier with the price. Highly recommended and already ordered the 200t replica

The saw is an absolute beast. I've had no problems from it in the 6 tanks I've put through it. I bought the 25" bar and chain to keep myself from having to bend when cutting logs on the ground, but I just used it to take down a very large stump to the ground, and it pulled the 25" with no problems at all. Starts in 2-3 pulls and is lighter than my 1968 041AV. We will see how long it lasts, but with Stihl parts, it will be easy to repair. Recommend 100%

Saw runs great and starts on 1-2 pulls every time. Plenty of power on 20 inch bar. Haven’t tried the 28 inch because it did not ship with the rest of my order.

Over the years as a professional logger I have owned 5 or 6 stihl 038's and was sorry when they quit making them. This clone is a near match. Starts and runs good, getting more power every day.

Great saw I run it with a 41in be full house chain and it runs it awesome definitely more than it was designed for but if you keep the chain sharp it handles it like a beast. Really really happy with this saw I've run it though 5' diameter sugar (hard) maple logs and it takes it in its stride. Can't reccomend this saw more, also oiler is more than suffecient for keeping a big bar oiled.

I bought the G388 and installed a 28 bar , 3/8 chisel chain and its a wood cutting machine. Have cut about a cord of wood so far with the only problem being the recoil rope sometimes sticks. Hoping it will get better as I use it but not a huge problem as It will recoil if I nudge it with a screw driver. Starts up on the third or fourth pull, runs well after starting, plenty of power . What more could you want.

I received the unit on time and well built, after carefully reading the instructions (that's important) we got right to work. The unit ran excellent and has preformed as good or better than I expected, we used a 20 bar and chain with this unit. I will be purchasing other products in the future from Farmer Tec and would recommend their products to anyone needing items they sell.

The 388 saw is a good saw,well balanced. Had a issue with the oil pump but customer service is sending me the parts to correct the problem. Do I recommend this saw,YES. Perfect for firewood,timber cutting

I finally bought me the G388 & it's an AWESOME running saw I had a faulty coil but no big deal I replaced it & now Big Blue is off & running I have used the saw some I don't run it too much until I fell the break in is done . The G388 has the power I am a telling you it does I put the 25 Huztl bar & chain on it & it's a CUTTING MACHINE I would recommend this for anyone who needs a dependable running chainsaw then look no futher than the Huztl G388

Great chaisaw,I run it from new with Aspen2T and it works awesome.In my business I worked with lots of diferent saws, but after this one, I would newer buy a new Stihl or Husky again.

Great saw! I've used Stihls in the tree industry for 13 years. Not a whole lot of difference between this & my Stihl 461. Loads of power & very nice to use.
