Some parts are really good like the Cylinder, Piston and Cranckshaft. All the plasticparts are really rough and need much work to fit and you need to clean out a lot of sharp edges. The handle for the on/off/choke - are useless and needs special attention if you want to use it. Not possible to fit the grounding wire or set the handle in STOP without careful filing and fitting of the part.Flywheel are rough and needs deburring and filing as well. The coil had to be modified slightly as it rubbed agains the flywheel and magnets. Bigger holes had to be made to fasten it to the cylinder with the right gap. The E rings slipped out of the shaft of the carburettor, and had to be replaced before installing the rods for the choke and throttle.
The worst part are the bottom plate for the cylinder, as the casting does not fit the cylinder well. Trying to press inn the oil-seals result in torn seals no matter how carefull you are.
This KIT are no way worth the US105,- I paid for it. I still have not been able to get the saw to run properly. Stay away from the kit and use your money on a Joncutter instead. I have quite a few saws from Farmertec, and have put togheter many small machines. This kit is by far the worst.

Kits are 100% complete. Assembly is simple and straightforward. High quality parts!! I love building these saws!

Runs pretty good. Flywheel was sloppy and clutch springs won't engage until 7200 rpm's Everything else was ok.

Bought a MS180 from Farmertec , had heaps of fun building it and putting it together , sent part's that they missed out on the Kit very fast! . would buy from Farmertec in Bulk.

Bough't a MS180 from Farmertec , was fun building the saw , would definitely buy from these guys again ( probably buy in Bulk ) .

Received this parts kit in about 3 weeks after ordering, upon inspection I found it to be missing some parts, after a few emails with a great customer service they (huztl) promptly sent the needed parts which I received in about 1 week.
The saw, the quality in the craftsman ship was a little under par, there was quite a bit of plastic over flash that I had to trim and also some metal casting flash that needed to be ground away but not too big of an issue. All in All for $55 this kit can't be beat. The kit went together fairly easy and was running after I discovered that the spark plug had no gap. I installed a Hozfforma 14" 3/8 pitch bar and chain on it to make a super light limbing saw for right at $90 with shipping for a brand new saw that I assembled my self.
What's not to like about that?

Had a ton of fun putting this together! It started and ran immediately with no hassle at all. It was my first one so I thought I would start small. I can't wait to start my next one. An MS440 I already have sitting here!
